Most radio stations are located in the commercial part of the FM band and, as such, derive their revenue from commercial, for-profit companies and corporations. Miracle 89.1 FM is licensed by the Federal Communication Commission in the “Public” or “Non Commercial” part of the FM band. Therefore, we are dependant upon you and others to meet our operating expenses. Commercial and for-profit entities may be heard on our station in a limited manner, just as other stations in the Public Radio band. However, not-for-profit entities (churches, schools, foundations, etc.) are free to advertise in an unrestricted manner on Miracle 89.1 FM.
